Hello all. I hope you have noticed some of the changes on the sidebar to the right. Besides the facebook button and badge and the twitter feed, I have added an “e-mail subscription” function so that anyone interested will automatically get an e-mail when I update the blog! Since I am not as timely and regularly as I would like to be, I hope this feature will help you know when I have finally squeezed out a few minutes to update you on the life of our little family.
We spent New Year’s Eve day on Cape Cod with Heather’s college friends. It was great to see Gwen and Griffin together (about the same age) and for the older Clara to interact with one of Heather’s closest friends. We spent our time inside running up and down the long hallway, playing with the 6+ other kids in the house, watching football, and catching-up on life.
A week later we got a huge snow that shut schools down for two days–about 18 in. It was the first time we took Gwen and Clara out into the snow this winter. Clara actually liked getting all dressed up into an almost sphere-like puff balland waddling through the snow drifts and in the steps of others. Gwen was her usual chipper self and seemed to just enjoy being in the backpack and out in the world.
